Satpol PP Tightens Public Security at Langsat Park

Some 40 personnel from Jakarta South Satpol PP were deployed to ensure peace and public order at Langsat Park, Kramat Pela Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district.

This is to prevent inappropriate behavior or crime

South Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Nanto Dwi Subekti said that optimizing supervision is a must in line with Taman Langsat being open 24 hours.

"This is done by making appeals to visitors, monitoring, and patrolling at night," he expressed, Thursday (6/12).

He explained, personnel were also deployed to guard areas of the park where the lighting is still insufficient.

He hoped that this would raise residents' awareness regarding the wise and appropriate use of parks following their function.

"We have also coordinated to optimize the lighting in areas that are often spots for residents to relax at night. This is to prevent inappropriate behavior or crime," he asserted.

The action above received appreciation from one of the residents, Ifan (33).

"We who visit at night feel more awake and safe while enjoying the atmosphere of the park," he stated.
